Illustrations I created for a party called "Lipgloss", a local indie rock night at The Anderson.
The visual concept for Lipgloss was inspired by B-Horror movie film posters. I hand-lettered the logo to look like slimey, gooey lipgloss, reminiscent of the classic horror film, The Blob. Each poster is meant to feel a little bit "off", bringing a sense of eerieness that strongly contrasts what is viewed as traditionally feminine scenarios.
